From the darkness we were born,
Till the essences of light has reached our eyes
We wander in restful ambition,
From themes of glory we each seek,
We find hollow dreams that will soon peak
These thoughts that surround the soul
Each of our goals satisfy only the body,
The truth is what lies waiting
Beyond the darkness that is left fading,
We reach enlightenment to some extent
Which thus leaves our old dreams sorely bent.
